MRPC has developed unique processes for two-material molding of liquid silicone rubber (LSR) materials onto metal, LSR materials onto plastic, custom rubber materials onto metal, custom rubber materials onto rigid plastic, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE’s) onto rigid plastics and TPE’s onto metal. Our unique two-material molding processes ensure product integrity, reliability and safety, while improving the form, fit and function of the final product.
We can chemically or mechanically bond two-materials together. Chemical bonds are achieved with the application of medical grade primers and/or plasma treatment processes with the rigid substrate components. Chemical bonding ensures the highest product reliability ...

MRPC has four clean rooms to mold your components in a controlled and certified environment. We monitor the particulate count in each of our rooms daily to insure the room meets our prescribed levels of cleanliness. In addition to molding, we also inspect, assemble, test, and package your components all within the same room to eliminate any chance of outside contamination.
Specialized capabilities in clean room molding include:
MRPC has the capability to provide our customers with components molded with long term implantable materials produced in our Class 7 (10,000) clean room. We work closely with our raw material suppliers to provide the best material solutions for our customers that require these specialized compounds. Currently we produce components with LSR and PEEK materials in dedicated machinery designed specifically for high precision molding processes. By coupling the material selection, part design, and molding processes, we provide our customers with the highest quality components required for their critical components.
Specialized capabilities for Long Term Implantable Components:
